Spend your Doe Widow Weekend in Downtown Elk Rapids

Since 2022, Ethanology has offered a unique shopping experience in mid-November. Camp Widow Market features local artists and vendors, and offers amazing food and music, too!

Come sip on fall-inspired hand-crafted cocktails as you shop the finest makers of our region.  The fires will be roaring, the chestnuts will be roasting, and the vendors will be plentiful. Enjoy something different on opening day of deer season! 

Owner Nick Lefebre notes that the market is an extension of their focus on supporting local agriculture and artisans. Vendors include: Tiny Traveling Boutique (clothing, handbags, jewelry, accessories), Northwind Blooms (floral, gift, home), Bear Earth Herbals (salves, tea, balms, herbs), Out of the Woods (maple syrup products), Wildflower Soapworks (soap, beauty, body), Chestnut Haven (fresh roasted chestnuts), The Keeper’s Candle (beeswax candles), Everjewl (luxury permanent jewelry) and Cherry Bee (raw & local honey)!

Camp Widow Market shopping will be from 1-6 pm with food from Masala Magic Indian cuisine by Chef Anita from 1-8 pm and music by Trent Breit & the Tradesmen from 7-10 pm.

Continue your shopping, sipping, and snacking adventures throughout both River Street and Ames Street in Downtown Elk Rapids from 10 am - 5 pm during Doe Camp Weekend, brought to you by the Elk Rapids Area Chamber and supported by the Elk Rapids DDA.
